Grace Baptist Church would like to extend an invitation to everyone in the community to attend Creation Sunday from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on March 9th. Dr. Carl Baugh, founder and director of the Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose and co-director of a research team searching for Noah’s Ark on Mt. Ararat and excavation director of fourteen dinosaurs will be the guest speaker.

Pastor John Campione said this event has always been one of his favorites and one that everyone can learn from.

“Whether you're a believer in Christ or not, this is one of those events that will intrigue you,” Campione said. “There has always been a dispute concerning the proof of creation, and Dr. Baugh's presentation will answer questions many people have wondered about for years.”

Baugh is an international lecturer in scientific creation and has made many guest appearances on TV and radio, as well as given numerous interviews on the Glen Rose excavations. Baugh will bring a presentation on Biblical creation and will have a banner of the 25 feet detailed replica of Noah’s Ark now on display at the Creation Evidence Museum. The event is free and open to all in the public. A lunch will be provided following the morning session.

Baugh is the co-discoverer and co-excavator of a South American ammonite that has not been described in the technical literature. He is preparing publication in the scientific literature, and has tentatively named the fossil Pendulaceras corrugatumlaqueus. He has more than 70 guest appearances representing scientific creation on Trinity Broadcasting Network.

Baugh has been invited as a guest lecturer at NASA headquarters in Green Belt, Md. as a result of his independent research on the world’s first hyperbaric biosphere. This biosphere is a simulation of the original ecospheric conditions of planet Earth. Preliminary results show extended life spans (and enhanced size) of fruit flies, enhanced growth in fish and structural alteration of snake venom. In his pioneering role as independent researcher in this field, he is president and CEO of Creation Research Systems, Inc. More than 30 years of his life has been spent researching the atmospheric conditions before the Genesis Flood.

To learn more about Baugh and his research on this topic, Campione encourages everyone to attend Sunday's event. Grace Baptist Church is located at 501 W Ave. F. For more information about Creation Sunday, call 972-775-2403.
