The Midlothian JV baseball team is off to an incredible start as it is undefeated through eight games.

The winning ways continued at a tournament last week.

The JV Panthers took the field in game one on Friday and defeated the Red Oak Hawks by a score of 6-0.

Ryan Breaud threw a no hitter. Breaud threw all seven innings striking out seven batters and only walking one. Breaud pounded the strike zone with a great fastball and the Hawks couldn't handle it.

Excellent defense for the game was turned in by Blake Wilson, Jordan Johnson and Nick Vela. Hunter Pustejovsky went 3 for 3 with three sharply hit singles in the contest. Jordan Johnson, Blake WIlson, and Jaycek Jackson also had hits.

In game two Friday, the JV Panthers squared off with the West Trojans. The Panthers once again came out on top by a score of 7-1.

Grant Adams pitched excellent for four innings striking out 10 batters while only allowing one walk and two hits. Jordan Johnson finished the final two innings on the mound in fine fashion,

Hunter Putejovsky, Nick Palmer, and Brandon Consalus led the way defensivley for the Panthers playing very solid baseball. Raby Hampton reached base safely all three times with a single and two walks.

Jake Crenshaw had a bases clearing double in the 5th innings that really blew the gameopen. Richard Due, Kyler Castillo, Hunter Pustejovsky, and Brandon Consalus also had singles in this game.

The JV Panthers finished the tournament with a 10-3 win over the Corsicana Tigers on Saturday. Nathan White pitched three good innings allowing no hits and only one walk. Raby Hampton and Hunter Pustejovsky pitched the final three innings in good fashion.

Leading defenders on the day were NIck Vela, Blake Wilson, and Robert Brueggemeyer. Ryan Breaud and Blake Wilson had two hits a piece in the contest. Jaycek Jackson, Parker Armstrong, Jake Crenshaw, Grant Adams, and Hunter Pustejovsky also added base knocks.
