The Walnut Grove and Franke Seale boys teams faced off against each other last week and the Wildcats came away with wins in all four contests.
In the eighth-grade B game, WGMS won 60-56.
The game was physical and tight throughout, just like most games between the two teams. The Cubs found themselves down for most of the game, and as usual they finish strong making a late charge. However there just wasn't enough time as the clock wound down, putting a halt to the late Cub charge.
Big scorers for the Wildcats were Kaden Archie with 32, Quinton Joseph with nine and Jerreth Sterns eight seven.
In the seventh-grade B game, WGMS won 37-33.
Wildcat big scorers were Chad Taborsky and Sterling Garcia with nine each. Landon Goerig and Logan Owensby had great defensive rebounds and steals.
The Cubs started off behind and started coming back in the second half with Janson Jackson having some big shots to put the Cubs in the game. The Cubs played hard all night and fought to the end.
In the eighth-grade A game, Walnut Grove won 41-32.
It was a game of runs and close the entire game. Chris Spillers led the Cubs on defense and Evan Marshall led the team on offense with 25 points.
Wildcat big scorers were Josh Williams with 12 and Logan Chamberlain and Zachary Legg with six each.
In the seventh-grade A game, Walnut Grove won 63-23.
The Wildcat big scorers were Noah Parker with 20, Parker Tims with 11 and Chip King with seven.
