The Panther track team traveled to Bill Savage Stadium in Duncanville to complete in the Bob Alpert Invitational Meet.
The boys had a strong showing finishing third in the meet.
Gold Medal winners were Bailey Rhodes in the 800 meter dash and Kyle Flaherty in the pole vault.
Silver medals went to Keion Sutton in the long jump and Keishi Mii in the 3200 meter run.
Bronze medals were awarded to Keion Sutton in the 200 meter dash, Keishi Mii in the 1600 meter run, Cody Tittle in the pole vault and Daniel Dopson in the high jump.
Special recognition needs to go to the 4x400M relay team as they came from behind to capture the bronze medal in a very exciting finish. The team consisted of Zach Tomlison, Brandon Klor, Bailey Rhodes and Colbey Steadham.
Other team members that contributed in the teams strong showing were Josiah Holland, and Sean McCommas. Many of the athletes set personal records and continue to improve.
The JV Panthers also finished in third place at the meet.
Gold medal winners were Cole Garrison in the pole vault and Roger Ward in the 3200 Meter run.
SILVER medal winners were Sony Kemp in the shot put, Roger Ward in the 1600M run and Marquise Edwards in the 100 Meter dash.
BRONZE medal winners were Ibrahim Muhammad in the 300 Meter hurdles, Ryan Bannister in pole vault, Roman Brown triple jump, Marquise Edwards 4x100 Relay and 4x200 Relay, Emillio Ramirez 4x100 Relay and 4x200 relay, LaDarius Hicks 4x100M relay and 4x200 relay, Cedric Whitaker 4x100 Relay and Hector Hernandez 4x200 Relay.
Others scoring points in the meet were Adam Schroder 5t h in the 100 meter dash, Tyler Coody and Michael Meeks in the 400 meter dash, Tetsua Mii in the 3200 meter run, Dun Lin in the 110 meter hurdles, Tyler Gibson in the shot put, Caleb Bubba Walton in the discus and Jake Brown in both the shot out and discus.
