Angels & Outlaws 2nd Chance Bully Ranch - an organization that offers care and education about the pit bull dog breed - and Texas Animal Protectors are co-hosting a “Pet-ucation” Fair this Saturday.

The fair will feature education for kids about pet and stray animal interaction, information about pet food, a doggie costume contest and parade and lots more. The event is free and will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Optimist-Jaycee Park.

Leslee Clements and Jennifer Aikman are the contacts for the event and we spoke to Aikman for details.

“Our mission is to redeem this amazing breed and to rescue as many death row and abused and neglect bull-bred dogs as is reasonably possible,” she said. “This event is a donation drive for both supplies and monetary donations to support our cause. We welcome vendors of all type and we have three different sizes of booths available."
