A mishap during taxiing Wednesday morning left one aircraft damaged at the Sherman Municipal Airport.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. as an aircraft was slowing moving across the runway. The plane was struck by a gust of wind that tipped it forward onto its nose, Sherman Communications Manager Nate Strauch said. There were no injuries and only minor damage to the aircraft, he added.

Sherman first responders said they were not called to the scene of the incident.
