GLENN HEIGHTS — Police are investigating the events that lead to the death of Fred Thompson, 72, of Glenn Heights. Thompson was found dead at a residence in the 400 block of Sleepy Top on Thursday.
Glenn Height Police officers and firefighters were dispatched at 7:35 a.m. to the residence regarding a possible drowning.
“The first responders discovered a male at that location that was found to be deceased. The deceased was taken to the Dallas County Institute of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy,” Glenn Height Police Chief Phillip Prasifka said in a press release. “Currently, the cause of death is listed as pending.”
Prasifka said the incident is under investigation by the Glenn Heights Criminal Investigation Division.
