Robert Wayne Lambert 71, and Donna Lynn Noble Lambert 69, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away together on April 17, 2017, and went to be with the Lord.

Donna and Wayne met at Spruce High School in Dallas and married upon graduation. Wayne served in Viet Nam where he earned several war medals. After Viet Nam, they moved to Duncanville where their children attended high school and later moved to their much-loved home in Waxahachie. They are survived by their children, Daryl Lambert of Waxahachie and Cynthia Lambert Chapman and husband, Eric of Midlothian along with 5 grandchildren, Calin, Cody and Hunter of Houston and Callie and Karlie Chapman of Midlothian who all honored Wayne and Donna as their precious “Dad and Mom, Granpa and Granma” in being the most warm-hearted souls who blessed all who came into their lives. Inseparable for their last 50 years of life on earth, Donna and Wayne entered the Kingdom of Heaven together hand-in-hand.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017, and a celebration of their lives is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, at Midlothian Funeral Home, 200 E. Avenue E in Midlothian, 76065 with burial following at 2:30 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery.
