Joyce Ann Meador Thompson, 72, went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny.

Joyce Ann was born in Dallas, TX on April 17, 1945, and grew up in Midlothian. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenny, on June 8, 1963. She worked for Midlothian ISD for 26 years before retiring. Joyce loved animals as well as spending time with her family. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting and extracurricular activities and looked forward to visiting with her friends in the “Coffee Club.” Joyce loved to give and was always thinking of others first. To know her was to know the love and compassion of Christ. She had a servant’s heart. She will be missed all those who knew her. Joyce is survived by her younger brother, Jerry Meador and wife, Julie. She is also survived by her four children, Tammy Reagan and husband, David of Frisco, Todd Thompson and girlfriend, Kathy Barker of Midlothian, Trent Thompson and wife, Shannon of Midlothian and Tim Couch-Thompson and wife, Codi of Midlothian, 8 grandchildren, Amber West, Brendon West, Ashley Reagan, Taylor Visconti, Tyler Thompson, Tate Thompson and Emersyn Couch-Thompson and 5 great-grandchildren, Calvin, Tasha, Cedric, Keisha and Little Kenny.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2017, at Midlothian Funeral Home and services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Midlothian, TX.
