While I highly disagree with the NFL players kneeling during our national anthem, I have come to the conclusion that all Americans should be kneeling AND praying DAILY.

Regardless of the reason for the NFL players kneeling, doing it during the National Anthem is not the time and a football game is not the place. Even though these players have every right to do this, I pray they will stop doing it and take a few moments to honor those who have given their all for them to have that right.

I truly agree that there is a great need to examine and discuss social injustices in America. Martin Luther King, Jr said it best with this quote: “An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

This wise man who peacefully protested and changed America was also spot on with this quote: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

With social injustices being the reason given when the kneeling began, it has now evolved into a protest against President Trump. I’d be willing to bet that the majority of the players now don’t even know why they are kneeling.

I call this following of any action the sheeple syndrome. You just follow the leader without all the facts. I could not help but wonder how many would follow suit if one NFL player stood on his head.

With all that is going on in the world lately, I believe that all Americans should be kneeling in prayer every day.

We have seen multiple hurricanes doing billions of dollars in damage and taking many lives. We have seen two devastating earthquakes in Mexico in a short period of time taking many lives. We’ve seen an evil man killing 58 citizens and injuring hundreds. Terrorism is going on around every day somewhere in the world with innocent men, women, and children being killed and injured.

With so much evil and bad going on, there have been so many heroic actions of people helping others, often putting their own lives at risk to help others. America at her worst always brings out the best in Americans.

My Facebook page has the following graphic: God is calling out to us, “America, you need Me.” This a very true statement, especially with all that is going on in the world.

In closing, I just want to say that I believe we are in our final days. Yes, we have heard this our entire life, but I can honestly say that in my humble opinion, more things are pointing to this than ever before.

So America, God is calling out to us. We do need Him. Are we going to listen and heed His call? I pray that every knee will bow and every heart will open and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Pray for America. Pray for our leaders. Pray for each other. Pray extra hard for the haters.

God bless America and all who serve and protect her.
