udith K. McAdams, 72, of Waxahachie went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Waxahachie. She was born August 1, 1945, in Waxahachie to Jack and Beatrice (Kelley) Keenom.

A lifelong resident of the Waxahachie area, in her later years Judith enjoyed vegetable gardening, tending her flowering plants, and was an excellent pastry cook. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. But, the true joys of her later life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren over which she lovingly doted. She grew beautiful flowers and loved nothing more than to let her “babies” pick one and run to give it to her with a big smile on their face. “Granny” was their rock and mentor and they will miss her dearly.

Judith leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 50 years, Michael McAdams; daughter Lauren McAdams Dellert and husband Christopher; grandchildren Brittany Stone and Andrew Rager; great-granddaughters Taylor Stone and Skylar Stone (all of Waxahachie); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a number of special friends, neighbors and acquaintances.

Judith was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Anthony McAdams, who died in infancy; her parents, Jack and Beatrice Keenom; one brother, Jack Keenom Jr.; and sisters Vivian French, Miriam Hazard, Susan Paxton, and Janis Keenom.

It was Judith’s request that there be no public service. The family will honor her wishes and a private family memorial will be held in the near future.
