MIDLOTHIAN — After a 30-14 season and 10-4 run through one of the toughest volleyball districts in the state, seven Lady Panthers received athletic all-district placement and another seven flexed their brains to land on the academic all-district team.

Because they are student-athletes, first and foremost, headlining the Midlothian representation on the academic All-District 10-5A team are Anna Groden, Tara Groden, Sydney Little, Madee Riley, Kaylie Vasil, Aryn Walton and Aubrey Walton.

On the athletic side of the court, junior libero and outside hitter Kelby Buchanan headlined the group with her District 10-5A Defensive Player of the Year accolade.
