GRAND PRAIRIE — The Midlothian Panther wrestling team had another strong tri-meet showing last Friday and Saturday at South Grand Prairie.

Led by senior captain Allen Roppolo, along with upperclassmen Brandon Bostwick and Cristian Vega, the Panthers won both duals beating Richardson JJ Pearce 51-30 and Frisco Independence 63-6.

The Lady Panthers won four of their six matches behind strong performances by Faith Bostwick and Kallie Wallace.

The Panthers placed 3rd out of 21 teams, only edged out by 6A South Grand Prairie and No. 7 Chisholm Trail by a 5-point margin.

For the Panthers, many of the lower weight classes challenged themselves by wrestling up a weight class to complete the roster. Midlothian remains unbeaten in duals.
