The softball game was over almost as soon as it started Monday afternoon in Lancaster.
Midlothian received a three-inning, one-hit complete game from Kristalyn Brown and plated 21 runs to defeat the Lancaster Lady Tigers 21-0.
Brown struck out five Lady Tigers and did not issue a walk. She also needed just 33 pitches to maneuver through the three innings — and 30 of those were strikes.
Emily Singleton and Tatum Sorrels both roped doubles to lead the Lady Panthers at the plate, while Annabel Anderson, Kaylee Hlavaty, Megan Martens, Abria Paul, and Sorrels all accounted for runs batted in.
The win, which moved the Lady Panthers to 11-10 on the season and 3-4 in District 10-5A, comes on the heels of an 18-8 defeat of Red Oak last Friday.
Midlothian returns to action at 7 p.m. Thursday at home against Mansfield Legacy to begin the second half of District 10-5A action.
