Dennis E Hauser (Denny), of Red Oak, TX, passed from this life into the arms of his savior, Jesus Christ, after losing his courageous battle against Pulmonary Fibrosis on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the age of 76. He was surrounded by his loving family and in the arms of his devoted wife.
Denny was born to parents, Ernest and Rita (Wolfenberger) Hauser on October 18, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA. The family later moved to Columbus, OH where he grew up. Denny graduated from Whitehall-Yearling High School in 1959 and then joined the US Air Force where he served honorably for 4 years. He went on to obtain his degree from Franklin University in Columbus.
Denny worked for Xerox for the first half of his career and then on to Recognition Equipment/BancTec in Irving, TX where he retired as a manufacturing engineer in 2012. Denny was a very generous and kind man who loved woodworking and building things for his family. The wise-one always had a project going on in his much-loved workshop.
He was an active and dedicated member of St Paul Episcopal Church in Waxahachie.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Karen; 5 children, son Eric Hauser of Round Rock, TX; daughter Connie Hauser Haight (husband JD) of Little Elm, TX; step-sons Rick Neff (wife Paula) of Waxahachie, TX; Danny Neff (wife Gina) of Grand Prairie, TX; step-daughter Patti Neff of Denton, TX; 8 grandchildren, Joey Neff (wife Makayla), Katelyn Neff, Nicholas Helm, Jennifer Neff, Hunter Green, Alexander Green, Blayde Helm, and Raven Helm; and 1 great-granddaughter, Jaylee Neff; sister, Elaine Lakin of Hilliard, OH; and brother, Richard Hauser of Carmel, IN.
A celebration of life service will be held at St Paul Episcopal Church, 624 Ovilla Rd., Waxahachie TX on April 21st at 11:30am.
