Sarah Jean “Jeanie” Harvey of Waxahachie, Texas, made her Heavenly journey on Thursday, April 12, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 25, 1925 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Wm. Oscar and Kathleen Belle Stoddard Womack.

Jeanie is survived by the love of her life of over 53 years, Freddie Gene Harvey. She is also survived by her niece Deborah Ford, who was like a daughter, sister-in-law Jimmie Harvey of Bedias, Texas, sister-in-law and her husband, Shirley and Fritz Rheam of Santee, California, as well as countless beloved nieces and nephews.

Jeanie was a homemaker for all of her 53+ years of marriage. Her greatest joys in her earthly life were her family, church family and friends. Her love of the Lord shone brightly to all who were privileged to know her. She was a very skilled seamstress. In addition to sewing, she loved to cook and craft.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Early Hale, siblings Nora Marie Womack-Judd, Lewis Oscar Womack, Ouida Ann Womack Graham, Jesse Durward Womack, Betty Earlee Hale McAfee and Ken Maynard Hale, brother-in-law Lawrence D. Harvey, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie who gave such amazing care to Jeanie over the past five years.
