After a battle with cancer, Henry Wayne Blackwell was called home on May 28, 2018. Henry was born in Glen Rose, TX on March 31, 1933 to Arthur and Vera Blackwell. He lived his early life in Glen Rose and graduated from Glen Rose High School where he was a varsity athlete. He joined the Navy after high school and was a veteran of the Korean War. He married Anita Louise Hudgins in 1956 and graduated from Arlington State College (UTA). Henry worked for Guiberson for 39 years as an engineer and was a Mason for 57 years and a 57-year member of the Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Vera, brother, Arthur (Son). He is survived by his sister, Pauline Mears, wife, Anita, children, Randall (wife DeeAnn), Clinton (wife Kelly) and Julie (husband AJ), grandchildren, Zachery Brammer, Henry Augustus Blackwell, Nikole Hall, Thomas Williams and Georgia Blackwell and one great-grandchild, Ryder Brammer. Funeral services will be on June 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Midlothian Funeral Home with interment following at Mt. Peak Cemetery, Midlothian, TX.
