The Red Oak High School Shotgun Team competed in the Scholastic Clay Target Program US Regional Tournament on June 15—17.
The tournament was held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio. The US Regional tournament was open to teams from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The ROHS Shotgun Team received many awards and prizes during the competition, including second HOA (High Overall) Team for the region. Team and Individual accolades are included below.
Bryson Wall placed third in the individual category.
Varsity squad placed second in the varsity category, which included Travis Domke, Bryson Wall and Dakota Brown.
JV squad placed third in the JV category, which included Isaiah Molano, Logan Chadwell and Dominic Teixeira.
ROHS Open Team placed fifth in the open team category, which included Travis Domke, Bryson Wall and Dakota Brown.
ROHS Open Team placed fifth in the open team category, which included Garrett Yarbrough, Mason Hatch and Bryson Wall.
Mason Hatch placed third in the individual category.

AWARDS AND HONORS
Dakota Brown received a $500 scholarship from the SCTP US Regional Tournament and Logan Chadwell was selected for the SCTP All-State Scholastic Team.
Because of his skill and shooting at the State and Regional Tournament, Domke will represent the Red Oak High School Shotgun Team and the State of Texas at the SCTP National Tournament at the Cardinal Center in Morengo, OH, July 14 — 21. Domke has qualified to compete in the trap and skeet events at the National Tournament.
"We are beyond blessed to have such a gritty and determined group of athletes who took on the challenge of the four talons to better themselves and their team and it showed in the accomplishments and accolades garnered at the US Regional Tournament," team sponsor Jake Mullican said.
"Just a month ago they were crowned third HOA Team in the State, and now they are being recognized as the second high overall team in the region," Mullican continued. "We are proud of all of our athletes that competed and even more so of Mr. Domke who will be representing us, as well as the State of Texas at Nationals next month."
Brooks Humphries and Robert Ramsden traveled and coached the team.
