Kenneth Williams, 58, of Red Oak, formerly of Buchannan, Mich. passed away Sunday, Aug. 4. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
He was born to the union of J.T. and Earnestine (Thompson) Williams in Niles, Mich., on April 17, 1955.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and a sister, Doris Thompson.
Prior to relocating to the Red Oak area Kenny worked for 24 years at AM General Hummer Plant in Mishawake, Ind. At the time of his passing, Kenny served faithfully for six years as a maintenance mechanic at Cardinal Glass IG in Waxahachie.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Kimberly James; seven sons: William Witherspoon of Nashville, Tenn., Terence (Cinnamin) Witherspoon of Waxahachie, Kenneth Williams Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn., Christopher (Tracy) Williams of Atlanta, Ga., Mermon “Tre” Elliott, Kenstyn and Kollyn Williams, all of Red Oak; seven sisters: Dorothy (Johnnie B) Jenkins of Mississippi, Bobbi (Hersey) of Inkster, Mich., Margaret Young of Buchanan, Mich., Anna Marie (Walter) Overton and Carolyn (Ben) Lax, both of South Bend, Ind., Delores Hill of Tampa, Fla., and Me Shelle (Donald) Williams-Porter of Lancaster, Texas; four brothers: Clarence (Josetta) Bibbs of Buchannan, Mich., Ed (Connie) Bibbs of New Troy, Mich., J.T. (Rosael) Williams of Niles, Mich., and John (Danzella) Williams of Belleville, Mich.; one aunt, Maude Thompson of Buchannan, Mich.; 26 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of many relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at Straight Way Church in Waxahachie. Burial to follow at City Cemetery.
