Frederick Lee Rittenhouse

Frederick Lee Rittenhouse passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at a local hospital. Frederick was born in Sabetha, Kan. the second of three children.

He was educated in the Seventh Day Adventist School System in Kansas City, Mo. He attended college at Southwestern Union in Keene, Texas. He served as a Corpsman during the Vietnam War. He was also called up to serve in the Gulf War and was awarded several medals in both. He worked at the North Texas Veterans Health Care Center until his retirement after 27 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Rittenhouse and Edna Gustin-Rittenhouse; and brother-in-law, Micheal Maines of Red Oak.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki of Midlothian; daughters, Wendi Rittenhouse of Apollo Beach, Fla.; Airmi Zolina; son-in-law, Jason Zolina; and grandson, Joaquim Zolina, all of Midlothian.

Other survivors include brother, Gene and Linda Rittenhouse of St. Augustine Fla., and sister, Anita Maines of Red Oak.
