MIDLOTHIAN — Midlothian High School, per May 22 reports from the Midlothian ISD Athletics Department, will hold a three-day youth football, basketball, softball camp June 5 through July 27.

Each camp's registration and insurance release or registration forms, available online at https://midlothiansports.rankonesport.com/AthleticPortal/Main/Camps.aspx, are required on the first day of each camp. Registration can be completed online or in person through the MISD Athletics Department.

All camp prices have a small processing fee.

FOOTBALL

The Panther Pride Football Camp, designed for children between the first and sixth grades, will focus on developing strength and speed for all athletics and includes agility, position specific and speed drills and flexibility sessions.

The course, which is $75 per camper, will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. between June 5 and June 8 at MHS Turf/Track Field located at 923 South Ninth Street in Midlothian. The registration deadline is June 5.

There will also be a Co-Ed Panther Football Strength and Conditioning Camp from June 12 to June 29 and July 10 to July 27. Varsity and junior varsity camps will run from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and the freshmen camp will run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

All athletes must report to the camp 15 minutes early. The cost of the strength and conditioning camp is $125. The registration deadline is June 12.

BASKETBALL

Head Coach Amy Tennison and the Lady Panther girls' basketball program will hold the three-day MHS Girls' Basketball Camp from 9 a.m. to noon, between June 5 and June 8.

The camp is designed to teach basic to intermediate skills to female athletes in the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth grades and costs $75. Campers will get a T-shirt and basketball and modified high-shool level skills training during the course.

There will also be a Midlothian High School Boys' Basketball Camp, under the guidance of Head Coach Steve Middleton, for children between the third and ninth grades from June 12 to June 15. The third- through sixth-grade camp will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the seventh- through ninth-grade camp will go from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The camp costs $75 and all interested parties are advised to email camp shirt sizes (Youth Small - Adult XXL) to daniel_francis@misd.gs.

SOFTBALL

The Lady Panthers' and Jaguars' softball programs and Head Coaches Alejandro Lozoya and Waylon Whitney will hold the MISD Softball camp from June 5 to June 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MHS Softball Field.

It will be a joint camp With Midlothian Heritage High School and will be held at MHS Blue Field behind Frank Seale Middle School. Student-athletes will be separated based on skill and age group and early registrations and walk-ons are welcome.

BASEBALL

The Midlothian Panther Baseball Camp, which is $75 to register, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. between June 12 and June 15 at MHS Panther Field, located at 923 South Ninth Street in Midlothian.

Campers ages 7 to 10 years old will attend the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. session and those ages 11 to 14 years old will attend the 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. session.

SOCCER

The Panthers and Lady Panthers and Head Coach Austin Guest will hold three days of soccer improvement camps for children between Kindergarten and eighth-grade age from June 19 to June 22.

The Kindergarten through fifth-grade session will go from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and the sixth- through eighth-grade session will go from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both camps will be held at Don Floyd Memorial Stadium, located at 923 South Ninth Street in Midlothian.

The cost is $75 per camper and the registration deadline is July 24.

VOLLEYBALL

New Midlothian Lady Panther Head Coach Teresa Dunn will hold her first Midlothian High School Volleyball Camp from July 24 and July 27 for children between the ages of 9 to 14 years old and grades third through ninth at MHS Arena, located at 923 South Ninth Street in Midlothian.

The cost is $75 per camper.

The 9- through 12-year-old session will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the 13- and the 14-year-old session will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
