National Signing Day kept Calallen High School busy Wednesday afternoon as six athletes signed to different colleges and universities.

Football players Jackson Lanam, Sam Gentry, Kinese Lomita and Duque Waddill all signed national letters of intent to continue their football careers at the next level.

Lomita signed with the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York. Lana signed with Texas State University in San Marcos.

Gentry signed with Northwestern Oklahoma in Alva, Okla. and Waddill signed with Texas College in Tyler.

Calallen’s girls soccer program also had two signees in Dana Curtis and Cloe Morales. Curtis is staying nearby at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Morales signed with the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
