The Midlothian ISD Education Foundation (MEF) is hosting the 12th Annual MEF Golf Tournament this Friday. Held at the Mansfield National Golf Course, the tournament will host 100 players, representing over 50 companies and individuals that have graciously donated their time and money for the children of MISD.
“This golf tournament serves as the largest fundraiser each year for MEF. We are very grateful to all of our partners and platinum sponsors: Gerdau, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, Baylor Orthopedic & Spine Hospital at Arlington, John Houston Custom Homes, and Methodist Mansfield,” said Gage Roland, Tournament Director & MEF President, “It is because of these donors that we are able to put those dollars right to work at MISD through Innovative Teaching Grants, Teacher & Paraprofessional Scholarships and Student-Teacher Recognition Programs.”
The Midlothian ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt philanthropic organization of citizens who share a vision of enhancing education in MISD.
“Many of our teachers have received grants as well as higher education scholarships from the foundation. As principals, we help provide resources for our teachers and students, and I believe the foundation is a great source for the creative and innovative minds at MISD,” said Coy Tipton, Principal at Frank Seale Middle School.
