MIDLOTHIAN — In a facility that’s sure to dazzle, Midlothian welcomed Blaine Stone Lodge to its repertoire of charming event centers last Friday, June 9.

“It turned out excellent,” expressed Candi Tebbs, Blaine Stone Lodge’s Sales and Marketing Director, of the grand opening. “It was everything we wanted it to be.”

From a private lake surrounded by acres of green grass to a rustically elegant sitting area, and over a 10,000-square-foot lodge, the new event center held nearly 400 guests during its celebration.

“It was all-hands-on-deck, and everybody helped out,” began Tebbs. “It took a village to pull that party together. We had valet, drinks, and we also had the awesome Walton Stout Band out here.”

“And then the fireworks, of course, were amazing, and all the seating, yard games, and flowers were perfect, and everything was polished. We even brought in somebody for the video and lighting so everything would be on-point,” she added.

With live entertainment inspiring the dance floor, cocktails by the fireside, a photo booth to commemorate the moment, the party ended in a glittering shower of fireworks.

“We wanted it to be a good time for everybody and showcase what we can do,” Tebbs acknowledged. “Our tagline is ‘Rugged Luxury,’ and I felt like we defined that perfectly Friday night.”

Though the lodge is fresh out of construction, it hit the ground running already booking the facility for corporate meetings, weddings, photo shoots, and mixers.

“One of our biggest assets is our location because we’re so close to Dallas and Fort Worth but still out in the country,” Tebbs described the reason for their facility’s popularity.

“So people can come here and get out of the inner city and enjoy themselves. They can get their feet in the grass, do some great brainstorming, or get married - we really can do whatever a client wants, we can customize it to them,” she included.

Receiving immediate success, Tebbs credits the city’s welcoming nature of embracing their business that's started them off on the right track.

“The community has treated us with open arms,” Tebbs complimented. “The local businesses have really been great. We’ve been networking with them, and it’s been a great place to be, and people have been warm and friendly - Midlothian is a fabulous area.”
