The Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with John Houston Custom Homes and the Waxahachie Project, will soon host a unique leadership conference with one of the world's most influential leaders.

John Maxwell, a New York Times bestselling author, will serve as the keynote speaker during the inaugural WX Leaders Summit - Beyond Success on Nov. 14.

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” stated Sandy King, President and CEO of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce. “John Maxwell challenges and motivates his audience with real-life stories and timeless principles that he backs with actionable steps. At this summit you will grow, change, and find your passion - walking away a better leader and equipped to empower other leaders.”

Strengthening the leadership culture in North Texas, the multi-session seminar invites leaders to invest in quality development through networking partnerships, turn-key business solutions, and transformative learning opportunities both personally and professionally.

“We are excited about many other leaders in our community getting the chance to not only be inspired to grow in their leadership but to grow in their ability to make a lasting impact with their influence,” began Bobby Parks, spiritual formation officer of John Houston Family of Companies.

“We believe that what will happen in November in the leadership community of Waxahachie and Ellis County will not only impact our area, but it could be a catalyst to see other communities of leaders transformed as well,” he added.

Maturing a culture of influence from across the state line, Maxwell will also initiate the launching of his globally acclaimed Beyond Success Roundtables leadership program in Waxahachie for the first time in the U.S. The summit will additionally contribute to the efforts of the Leadership Waxahachie program, continuing quality growth and education for local influencers found throughout Ellis County.

“We are setting a new bar in Waxahachie with the WX Leaders Summit,” expressed Andy Lehmann, organizer of the Waxahachie Project. “Waxahachie is an amazing, growing city that deserves world-class investment in our leadership community.”

“Something powerful happens when leaders gather together to grow. This Summit is a ‘no-brainer’ for personal and corporate development on an annual basis, and is one opportunity you will not want to miss,” he concluded.

The WX Leaders Summit will be held from 1—4 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Waxahachie Civic Center, located at 2000 Civic Center Lane in Waxahachie. Tickets may be purchased at www.wxleadership.com
