FREDERICKSBURG — The Heritage Jaguars finished 4-0 to win the Fredericksburg Chicken Express Christmas Extravaganza on Friday and Saturday.

On Saturday, the Jaguars pulled away for a 54-42 victory over Salado, their widest win margin of the weekend. In the final game of the event, HHS outlasted Graham in overtime, 65-62.

The Jags (10-3) picked up two hard-fought wins on Friday, edging San Antonio Kennedy, 54-52, and following that with a narrow 46-45 victory against Georgetown as Reggie Adams hit the go-ahead bucket with 10 seconds to play.

The Jags were scheduled to travel to China Spring for a non-district game on New Year’s Eve at 12:30 p.m. Because of an early holiday deadline, those results were not available. They will host Athens in another non-district matchup on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
