There is no stopping the Heritage High School girls’ soccer team as they plow through the District 12-4A schedule with ease.

On Tuesday, the Class 4A No. 6-ranked Jaguars took a 5-0 lead into halftime and went on to a 7-0 home victory over Ferris, running their district goal differential on the year to 29 goals for and zero against.

Aaliyah Bivins scored a brace for HHS and the other goals and assists were spread out among the squad, with Brynn Pollock finishing with a goal and two helpers and Savana Conde chipping in with a goal and an assist as well.

Other goal scorers for the Jags were Megan McCarthy, Hannah Dorsey and Rachel Allen. Emilee Page, Kylar Kenter, Kerry Scott and Joely Godfrey added assists.

McCarthy played one half in goal and needed only one save.

The Jags (15-3-1, 4-0) were even more dominant on Friday as they went on the road. Pollock scored a hat trick and Dorsey and Scott each added braces as they blasted Highway 67 rival Alvarado, 10-0, with five goals in each half.

Kenter, Godfrey and Bailey Lamb added the other goals for HHS. Allen and Bivins supplied two assists each as well and Jaedyn Barela had an assist. McCarthy played the full match in goal and stopped all four shots she faced.

The Jags will travel to Life Waxahachie on Friday for a 7:15 p.m. kickoff and will entertain Venus on Tuesday night.

12-4A boys: HHS 4, Ferris 0

FERRIS — The district-leading Heritage Jaguars soccer team scored two goals in each half and took away a 4-0 victory against Ferris in District 12-4A action on Tuesday.

The back line of Zach Schmidt,,Noah Gray Brendon Newton and Jett Whitaker along with goalkeeper Konnor Koethe fought hard to combat the aggressive Ferris attack.

On Friday, the Jags (18-3-1, 5-0) also traveled to Alvarado and pulled out a 2-1 win over the Indians, getting a second-half goal to break a 1-1 tie.

The HHS boys will host Life Waxahachie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and will visit Venus next Tuesday.
