There have been three additional confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 and three new recoveries in Ellis County. This increases the countywide total to 187 cases of COVID-19, including 125 recoveries.

According to a press release from Todd Little, Ellis County Judge & Emergency Management Director, “These three additional cases of COVID-19 include a 33 year-old resident of the City of Midlothian, and two residents, ages 60 and 66, of the same household in Waxahachie.”

Additionally, Ellis County Emergency Management urges residents to wear masks while in public, wash their hands frequently, avoid touching their face and practice distancing where practicable.
