On Saturday, June 27, the Forgotten Ones Animal Rescue will be holding a charity yard sale to aid the non-profit.

"Due to COVID, we have been unable to have any fundraisers at all. So everybody during COVID collected this stuff for us, and it's been in a storage unit for three months now," said Sundee Mahone, Founder and President of the organization.

The charity yard sale will be held at Coleman Jr. High in Waxahachie from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The items available will range from furniture to clothes and wall decor.

The Forgotten Ones Animal Rescue has been active for two and a half years, serving Ellis County. This non-profit is an animal rescue in Midlothian, whose passion is helping animals who are sick.

"Thank you for your support. Without the community's support we would not be able to do anything that we do. We wouldn’t be able to save any of these dogs," Mahone stated.

One hundred percent of the donations given will go back to the dogs. All of the people involved in the organization are volunteers, who are not paid.

"So all of our donations, everything that we’ve raised goes straight back to vet bills," Mahone said.
