Several Ellis County law enforcement agencies  are planning community events in conjunction with National Night Out, being held across the country on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Events scheduled include:

Waxahachie Police Department  

Oct. 1 staring 6 p.m.

Neighborhood of West Main Street and the neighborhood of Mustang Creek Drive and Sumner Lane.

 Red Oak Police Department

Oct. 1 at Red Oak Police and Fire Station located at 547 N. Methodist St. Events fro 6-9 p.m.

 Ovilla Police Department

Ovilla’s National Night Out. It will be on Oct. 1, at the baseball field behind City Hall.


Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. in Hunters Glenn subdivision

 Glenn Heights

National Night Out at Heritage Park from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 1. Heritage Park is located at 400 East Bear Creek Road


Oct. 1, 6-9 p.m. at Palmer Middle School Pavillion, 112 FM 813. The event will feature food, bounce houses, cake walk and displays from the Palmer Police Department with opening ceremony by the Army National Guard.
