Kenneth Wayne Webster, age 70, a longtime resident of Midland, Texas passed into the loving arms of God on September 24, 2016 at his home in Ovilla, TX. Kenneth was born in Bristow, Oklahoma in 1946. His family moved to Petersburg, Texas in 1948 where he attended school. He enlisted in the Navy in 1963 and served four years aboard the aircraft carrier Yorktown. Kenneth worked in the gas compression industry in Midland, Texas for many years before retiring in 2008, moving to Ovilla, Texas in 2010. Kenneth married his soulmate, Pamela McPherson of Lockney, Texas on May 27, 1967. They were blessed with 49 wonderful years together.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Pamela, son Jay Mark Webster and wife Dawn of Grand Prairie, Texas, brother Ronnie Webster and wife Sandi of Lubbock, Texas, sister Linda Wiist of Hillsdale, Oklahoma, grandchildren Cameron and Katelyn Webster of Grand Prairie, Texas, sister-in-law Karen Johnston and husband Dave of Palestine, Texas, and extended family of nieces and nephews. He leaves behind cherished friends who blessed his life in so many ways.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Clara and Elmer Webster and in-laws Kathleen and Jay McPherson.

Kenneth loved corvettes and El Caminos and spent many years restoring his 1970 corvette. He loved going to car shows and watching auto auctions as well as hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his golf games with his church friends and his prayer time with them every Tuesday morning.

Kenneth’s love of God was evident in his trustworthiness and honesty. He loved life and his family, friends and his church.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Church of Ovilla, Texas on September 29, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. with burial at the Dallas National Cemetery at_3:00 p.m. under the direction of Midlothian Funeral Home
