David Kyle Harder

David Kyle Harder was called home by his Heavenly Father on January 27, 2022, at the age of 67, in Bartlesville, OK. David was born April 1, 1954 in Dallas, Texas, to his parents, John Lee Harder and Jackie Jane Lenhart Harder. He is a 1972 graduate of De Soto High School.

David was the owner of Harder Electric, INC., in Ellis County, for over 30 years. David was known to put people first in every relationship he had. David always credited his Lord Jesus Christ as helping him at every turn. His church life was important to him. He volunteered in various roles to include elder, helping with children and youth programs, and with a mission outreach for several years along the Texas/Mexico border in South Texas. He taught and practiced that people are who God absolutely loves; help bring others to know Jesus as you go.

David is preceded in death by his father John Lee Harder, his daughter Michelle Diane Harder, and his brother Bruce Lee Harder. He is survived by his wife Susan Harder, his son Michael Harder and his wife Robin, his mother Jackie Jane Harder, and two sisters: Joni Lynn Lakey and her husband Johnny, Jeri Jane Krietmeyer and her husband Gordon, 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

David would encourage all to get right with the Lord and to show love and kindness to the ones they love, for this life is very brief.

His Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, April 2, at 1 p.m., at the Midlothian Conference Center, in Midlothian. David's web site: www.stumpff.org/tributes.
