Harold Glenn McMahan

1933 - 2022

At the age of 88, Harold McMahan passed away March 19, 2022 at Lutheran Sunset in Clifton, Texas.

Harold was born December 13, 1933 to Fields and Earline McMahan. He married the love of his life, Nelda Mason, on November 28, 1953. They spent 68 beautiful, loving years together before she had passed late last year. They called Midlothian home and raised a two wonderful children.

Harold is survived by his daughter Donna Stroud and her husband Paul Stroud, four grand children: Sabrina Stroud, Kelli Stroud, Leslie Miller and Steven McMahan Jr. and numerous great grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy McMahan, son Steven McMahan Sr. and wife Nelda McMahan.

Harold proudly served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957 and played a key part in the Korean War. He loved his church and to sing Gods words. He coached boys baseball and girls softball. Harold was the barber in Midlothian for many years and people knew him as "Mac the Barber". He was able to get to know and cut hair for numerous generations of families. If you needed to know any thing in Midlothian all you needed to do was go get a hair cut. You probably would hear more that you wanted but you would never leave without a piece of bubble gum, a good story under your belt and a smile. He could never meet a stranger and once you met Mac you would never forget him.

Now you are with God and your family. You will always be in our hearts and deeply missed.
