To the Editor,

Having known Richard Rozier and his family for almost forty years I can honestly say I have never met anyone more committed to upholding their ideals and values as Richard. He exemplifies everything we should desire in a public servant.

Ten years ago Richard and Karen purchased land in Ellis County and built their dream home and in 2008, along with their son Daniel, refurbished an historic building on Main Street, where Richard relocated his business and began to volunteer. First elected to the Board of Directors in 2010, Richard recently completed his term as the 2013 Chairman of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, which continued his lifelong commitment of service to his community.

Ellis County has a long and proud history and although I'm a thirty year resident of Waxahachie, I sometimes feel like a relative newcomer. While some may question Richard's length of residence in Ellis County I have no doubt he will bring the same passion for conservative principles and ethics that have guided his public and private life. Ellis County added almost 35,000 new residents in the past ten years and the population is projected to double in the next twenty. The time to address the issues which will face our county is now. As a Board member of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, Richard worked closely with Mayors, City Managers, and County Officials to help shape the future policies for the sixteen county region of North Texas and I am confident Richard will bring that same dedication for honesty, integrity and veracity to the citizens of Ellis County.

I am fortunate to call Richard Rozier my friend and I am thankful I can cast my vote for him as the next Ellis County Judge.

Rick Keeler.
