Foundation’s annual event raises thousands of dollars for grants, scholarships

The eighth annual Van Alstyne Education Foundation Clay Classic, held on Oct. 3, drew upward of 120 participants who converged to shoot skeet and enjoy an old-fashioned fish fry. The event raised $20,000 for the foundation, which will be used to fund student scholarships and teacher grants.
