Ragle, Tompkins lead MHS all-district honors
Fresh off a historic football season, the Midlothian Panthers picked up plenty of postseason honors from the coaches in District 4-5A (Division I). The Panthers received both top superlative awards as senior quarterback Chad Ragle was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player and senior Kade Tompkins was chosen as the Defensive MVP.
No. 20 HHS girls win 3 in Fort Worth
FORTWORTH—TheClass 5A No. 20-ranked Heritage girls’ basketball team improved to 2-0 in District 8-5A with a commanding win last Tuesday, then finished with a 3-1 record in the Fort Worth tournament at the Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center over the weekend.

Lady Panthers clean up in 8-5A awards
The District 8-5A champion Midlothian Lady Panthers brought home numerous superlative awards in voting by volleyball coaches in the district. Leading the way were seniors Kenna Buchanan, Lauren Safrit and Jenna McMichael, all of whom were named to top honors.

Local young woman earns Eagle Scout

Each one attained the rank of Eagle Scout as a young man, an honor earned by only 4 percent of Scouts. Those numbers began to include young women in 2019 when the Scouting program was opened to girls aged 11-17.
County court amends growth regulations
