The original game called “cornhole” was first played in 1883 as invented by a New Yorker by the name of Heyliger de Windt. His early version of the game was played on the lawn with the use of a slanted board, and beanbags were thrown into a hole as the target. And thus, began this outdoor game that seems to have gained momentum over the past few years.

Hearing the words “Fourth of July” conjures images in my mind of glimmering fireworks, backyard barbeques, and family time.
