Annual City of Midlothian water conservation requirements took effect on June 1 that require residents and businesses to refrain from irrigating their lawns or landscaping between the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except for hand watering or the use of drip/subsurface irrigation or properly working soaker hoses.
