Little named chief elected official of Workforce Development Board

Ellis County Judge Todd Little has been named as Chief Elected Official of the North Central Texas Workforce Development Board, a 14-county partnership that oversees the planning, oversight, policy guidance, and design of services in North Texas to promote economic growth, opportunity, and a skilled workforce. As Chief Elected Official, Judge Little will have a high degree of influence over key policy recommendations of the Workforce Development Board.

Ennis teams no match for MHS

On Tuesday night, March 4 at Midlothian High School’s home soccer field, the Panthers (11-4-3 overall and 7-1-3 in District 15-5A) welcomed the Ennis Lions (3-7-2 overall and 4-10-2 in district play) for the final district home game of the year. As both teams prepared for the game, they were “blessed” with a springtime breeze wafting across the field (ha, ha) and through the bleachers at a constant 40 to 50 miles per hour.
