P&Z OKs plan for 53-lot subdivision

After a discussion and a pair of tied votes, the Midlothian Planning and Zoning Commission Tuesday night ultimately approved a planned development for a property on the south side of West Highland Road and east of Mockingbird Lane. The development was finally agreed to after a condition was added to extend a stub-out on the south side of the subdivision.

Lions earn SAC team academic honors

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) recognized 117 teams across its member institutions as 2024–25 SAC All-Academic Scholar Teams, with Nelson University proudly earning spots for eight of its athletic programs, the conference office announced Monday morning. This annual honor, which celebrates academic achievement across SAC athletics, requires programs to post a combined team GPA of 3.00 or higher based on institutional grading standards.
