The Ellis County United Special Olympics Powerlifting team carried the day at the North Texas Regional Meet held on Saturday, Jan. 13, with 28 medals, 3 of which were overall golds. The meet was hosted by the Waxahachie Independent School District at Howard Junior High. The team now sets its sights on the Winter State games held in Bee Cave, Texas on Feb. 17.
