County notes TCEQ rejection of Shankle Road MUD
Ellis County governments have been in opposition of municipal utility districts, or MUDs, for going on a decade. Last month, the county finally realized a victory in the fight against these entities.
Stolen vehicles recovered in Ellis County
The Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force announced last week that it, alongside officers from the Mansfield Police Department and Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, recovered two stolen Chevrolet Camaros in a joint operation.

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Endangered Missing Person Alert for a 21-year-old man last seen on Monday, Nov. 25.

Riders only need to show up, bring an unopened toy and $5 per person, at the form-up point in downtown Midlothian. Canned goods will also be accepted. Donuts/coffee will be available at the form-up; and the ride will end in Ennis with hot dogs, drinks, snacks, t-shirts, auctions and raffles.
