MPD, Bridges partner for Autism Awareness Month
As April marks Autism Awareness Month, this year, the Midlothian Police Department has partnered with the Bridges Training Foundation to enhance awareness and promote positive interactions between law enforcement and the autism community.
Midlothian ministers honored with luncheon
The local nonprofit called Love Your Neighbor (LYN) of Ellis County and its LYN Thrift Store in Waxahachie, was privileged to host a free luncheon on Wednesday, April 2 at The Lighthouse Church located in Midlothian. Annual egg hunt promises fun for all
Midlothian Parks and Rec Annual Community Egg Hunt happens on April 12 at 10 a.m. This is a fun scramble for eggs and toys for children up to 12 years old. The event includes an “inclusive” hunt area for people of all ages with special needs.

Early voting begins April 22 in Midlothian and across the state of Texas for the Saturday, May 3 joint local city and school board election, the Ellis County Elections Office announced this week. In total, there are two seats up for grabs on the Midlothian City Council.
