For some journalists, however, minds continue to spin — conjuring, probing, marveling and expressing — thoughts about life, sometimes exceeding sublime or falling short of ridiculous.

The true meaning of being ‘progressive’

One of the things I learned in school that was not true is: Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Whoever said that was crazy! I got called some names not too long ago and I gotta tell you it hurt. The only term I cared for and that was after I Googled it and thought about it was the word progressive. Can you believe someone actually called this stick in the mud, doesn’t know how to have fun, uptight, conservative, so far to the right he has come back up on the left, old, tired, too often, too cynical pastor a progressive?

Thanksgiving: Have an attitude of gratitude

Thanksgiving is much more than a big meal with family and friends. It’s a time to reflect on, and be thankful for, all of the good things you have. It’s important to be grateful, not just on Thanksgiving, but each and every day. Rather than lamenting what you feel is lacking in your life, begin each new day by developing an attitude of gratitude. Take inventory of your blessings and you will be surprised at just how much you have to be thankful for.

Opportunities abound with U.S. infrastructure upgrade

Infrastructure funding is flowing, and the majority of regional connectivity projects involve numerous stakeholders and therefore demand intensive coordination.
