CBC announces Sept. Artist

The Corning Beautification Committee announced the September Artist of the Month as Susan L. Green. Green learned to enjoy painting when she signed up for classes at the community center a few years ago. “Our teacher and ladies were so fun and helpful. Techniques were mentioned to capture the art of oil painting. After that class ended, I signed up for watercolor painting. That class was unique because the water does the work for you.” In the photograph the paintings in the front are oil paintings. The three paintings in the back are watercolors. Susan appreciates having her artwork selected for display at the M.B. Ainley, Jr. Community Center.
