Representatives of Gerdau Midlothian Steel Mill, The Heights – Ellis County Family Resources, and other dignitaries gathered at the Gerdau facility in Midlothian last week to begin a partnership to help serve victims of family abuse in Ellis County. Gerdau presented a $10,000 check to The Heights to help fund the construction of a facility for the organization in the county. The Heights is a nonprofit that guides victims of family abuse to safety and hope by connecting them to the services of many different nonprofits all together in one place. Courtesy photo
