Glendola Flanigan

Glendola Flanigan, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away September 5, 2022 at Edgewood Health and Rehab in Springdale.

Mrs. Flanigan was born April 19, 1927 in Knob. She was a partner in her family farming operation for 35 years and had worked at Basler Electric for 11 years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, crocheting, painting, and bowling. She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. Glendola was a member of First Baptist Church in Corning where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

On November 25, 1948, she married G. C. Flanigan, Jr. They were married 45 years prior to his death on August 7, 1994.

Survivors include her children Patty (Richard) Legler of Houston, TX., Sandy (Dennis) Heflin and Karen (Dennis) Boyd, both of Fayetteville; grandchildren Chris (Kelly) Legler and Leah (Mitch) Rudebusch, both of Denver, CO, Chase (Kalee) Emerson of Flippin, and Thomas Boyd of Fayetteville; and several other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Gyles Wiley and Hulett Lorene (Burns) Dobbins and sister Bonnie Davidson.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Corning Cemetery.
