This years recipient from the Texas Democratic Women of Ellis Countys Food Drive was Helping Hands of Ennis, which fulfills its mission by providing food, clothing and financial assistance (rent/mortgage/bills) to families in the midst of crisis. Those who are in need can visit its food pantry to ensure they have food on the table, can be given vouchers to the Spirit of Sharing Thrift Shop or can receive financial assistance to help cover their bills.
